Moraga Real Estate

Buying or selling in Moraga with a broker who has sold luxury homes throughout Lamorinda.

Moraga is the quietest of the three Lamorinda towns, a residential valley surrounded by open hills and home to Saint Mary's College. There's no freeway through town, which keeps traffic light, yet the Lafayette and Orinda BART stations are a short drive away. As co-founder of Branagh Realty, I sold new luxury homes throughout Lamorinda, including Moraga. Whether you're buying your first home or selling a family home of 30 years, I'll help you price it right and negotiate hard.

Moraga Neighborhoods

  • Moraga Country Club: A community of single-family homes and townhomes around a private golf club.

  • Sanders Ranch: Planned neighborhood of larger homes next to open space in south Moraga.

  • Campolindo: Family neighborhood in north Moraga near Campolindo High School.

  • Rheem Valley: Homes close to the Rheem Valley Shopping Center and Moraga Commons Park.

Schools

Moraga is served by the Moraga School District for kindergarten through 8th grade, with three elementary schools and Joaquin Moraga Intermediate School. Students go on to Campolindo High School in the Acalanes Union High School District. Boundaries follow addresses, not neighborhood names, so I confirm school assignments for every home my buyers consider.

Getting Around

  • BART: There is no BART station in Moraga. Lafayette and Orinda stations are a short drive away.

  • Freeways: Moraga Road and Moraga Way connect to Highway 24 in Lafayette and Orinda.

  • Open space: The Lafayette-Moraga Regional Trail, Moraga Commons Park and the surrounding hills are right in town.
